TRANSPORTATION & ROAD
CONDITIONS:
If you desire, the lodge will arrange for transportation
to pick you up at the Salt Lake City Airport. (Unfortunately
we cannot be responsible for the exact time of arrival of
this type of transportation). City buses do travel between
the airport and Alta on a regular, but infrequent basis
during daytime hours only. Our reservationist can advise
you of this schedule.
Occasionally, the
road to Alta is closed due to snow conditions. Sometimes,
guests arriving at the Salt Lake Airport receive erroneous
information about such closures. If you hear that
the road to Alta is closed we suggest that you verify
this information by calling the Lodge, at 328-8589
as we are in constant contact with the road authorities.
Should you be required to spend the night in Salt
Lake City, please advise us where you are staying
so we may alert you of changing road conditions.
