| Alta has offered a unique skiing tradition since 1938. The mountain
is graced by nature with a wide variety of terrain, breathtaking scenery
and unparalleled snow conditions. The terrain is rated 25% beginner,
40% intermediate and 35% advanced-something for everyone! We invite
you to come and experience Alta with your family and friends to create
your own unforgettable memories. By limiting the number of skiers
in the area, Alta Ski Area strongly upholds a commitment to your skiing
experience. Please note that Alta is for skiers-no snowboarding. |

Snow
Alta is noted for some of the best snow conditions in the world. Dry,
fluffy powder may be found from November to April. We receive an average
seasonal snowfall of 500 inches. |

Season & Hours
Mid-November through mid-April. Lifts are open daily from 9:15 am
to 4:30 pm. Cecret and Supreme close at 4:00 pm; Sugarloaf closes
at 4:15. |
