*** Effective March 15, 2020 Alta Peruvian Lodge will be closed for the remainder of the season to help prevent the spread of COVID-19. With your health in mind, we hope to minimize the risk to our teammates, guests and Alta community as a whole. Please stay tuned for updates on our website and social channels. Providing the best experience for guests and team members is the highest priority for us and we’ll continue to diligently work to protect everyone who visits us. Like all of you, were closely monitoring this evolving situation and will provide updates as needed.

In addition to our standard and daily guest room and common area cleaning procedures, we are taking additional precautionary steps to increase the frequency of the cleaning and disinfecting happening at the lodge. We’re also regularly providing our employees with information on best practices and procedures as outlined by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Lastly, any team member who has cold or flu-like symptoms will not be allowed to work. In the interest of public health, we ask the same of our guests who may suspect they’re sick.

Also during this time of uncertainty, we understand flexibility is key. We’re here to assist guests whose travel plans may be impacted by the novel coronavirus. We’ve modified our cancellation policy for the remainder of the season:

1. For any cancellation made (8) days or more prior to date of arrival, you will receive a full refund.

2. For any cancellation made within (7) days or less, we will work with you on a case-by-case basis.
