Alta is located just 45 minutes from Salt Lake City International Airport, though it may be longer depending on the traffic. You can either drive or take a shuttle. Airport shuttle services are available year-round, or a complimentary resort shuttle operates from mid-December through early April.
No way. Alta Ski Area is strictly a skier-only mountain, preserving a traditional alpine skiing experience. Snowboarding is not permitted.
