Alta Peruvian Lodge offers both private accommodations and dorm‑style shared rooms, giving guests flexibility depending on their travel style and budget.
Do rooms have TVs, microwaves, or kitchenettes?
Rooms at Alta Peruvian Lodge are designed around a traditional ski lodge experience and do not include televisions, microwaves, or kitchenettes. Suites include small refrigerators, and complimentary Wi-Fi is available throughout the lodge.
What views are available from the rooms?
Most rooms overlook Alta Ski Area and Little Cottonwood Canyon, while others face different areas of the canyon depending on room type and location.
Are meals included with every stay?
Yes. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are included with all overnight stays.

How many guests can stay in each room?
Occupancy varies by room type. Dorm-style rooms accommodate solo travelers and small groups, while suites provide additional space for couples, families, and groups.
Is there a minimum‑night stay requirement during ski season?
Minimum-night stay requirements apply during peak ski season periods, including Christmas and New Year’s.
Are the rooms family-friendly?
Yes, but room selection may vary based on occupancy rules and availability. Suites and larger room types are generally the best option for families.
Dining & Included Services
Are meals included with room reservations?
Yes. All room reservations include breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Breakfast is served from 7:30–9:00 AM, lunch from 12:00–1:30 PM, and dinner begins at 6:00 PM. Saturday dinner is served buffet-style.
Can dietary restrictions be accommodated?
Dietary accommodations may be available with advance notice.

What is the atmosphere like at Alta Peruvian Lodge?
Alta Peruvian Lodge embraces a traditional European‑style ski lodge atmosphere with shared spaces and communal dining, with amenities like après‑ski snacks, 24‑hour coffee service, nightly movies, and a lobby gift shop.
Do all guests have access to common areas and lodge amenities?
Yes. All guests have access to lodge amenities and common areas regardless of room type.
Is Wi‑Fi available in the rooms?
Yes. Complimentary wireless internet is available in guestrooms.
Arrival, Departures & Policies
What time are check‑in and check‑out?
Check‑in begins at 3:00 PM, and check‑out is at 11:00 AM. Bag storage is available before check-in and after check-out so you can ski without carrying a thing.
Does Alta Peruvian Lodge offer transportation to the ski lifts?
Yes. The lodge provides a complimentary ski shuttle to Alta Ski Area lifts. The lifts are also within walking distance.
Is airport transportation available?
Alta Shuttle is our preferred vendor and provides shuttling to and from the Salt Lake International Airport.
Is parking available for guests?
Yes. Complimentary on-site parking is available for overnight guests.
