Home for the Holidays

As the lyrics go in the famous Christmas song “there’s no place like home for the holidays.” Well that’s unless you’re staying at the Peruvian where we’ve perfected the balance of making you feel like you’re on vacation and right at home.

With a (almost always) guaranteed white Christmas, skiing in Alta is wonderful during the festive period. And for decades, we have been welcoming generations of families and friends who come to here to enjoy the season’s magic and bountiful powder.

While there may not be caroling or gingerbread houses, we love setting a cozy holiday scene for guests to enjoy. With the addition of holiday decor throughout the lodge, including the our beautiful (and real) Christmas tree, guests feel right at home. And what’s the holidays without a great feast?! On Christmas Day, we enjoy preparing a traditional Christmas dinner including turkey, ham and all the fixings.

Best of all, we get the privilege of witnessing friends and family gather around the fireplace, share their holiday stories and truly enjoy what the season is all about! Happy Holidays from the Alta Peruvian Lodge!
