1. Accessible: Once you’ve arrived at the airport, getting up to Alta is a cinch. Simply jump in your rental car (or shuttle) and head up 8,500 feet to Alta. This may sound like a lot but door to door is usually only about a 45-minute drive.
2. Terrain For All Levels: We get it. Alta is a skiers-only paradise with some pretty intense skiing. But what makes us truly special is all the different levels of terrain. From beginner to advanced, our slopes let everyone in the family experience something that fits their individual skill level.
3. More Snow, Less Dough: Odds are that when you’re vacationing in Alta, there will be plenty of snow. Exceeding 540 inches of snow this past season, we’re pretty confident that you’ll be treated to some fresh, new powder during your stay. Plus, Alta lift tickets are incredible reasonable in comparison to other ski resorts throughout the country, especially when purchased in advance.
4. Getting Schooled: Whether it’s ski camp for the kiddos or an off-trail workshop for the experts in the family, the Alf Engen Ski School is just minutes from the lodge and shares their passion for skiing with all their customers.
