It’s the most wonderful time of the year. Ski season is back! Opening day has come and the fresh mountain air and untouched powder never gets old. Especially when the snowfall has reached record numbers already.
Through November 17th, we’ve already had 94 inches of new snowfall this season. That is the most new snowfall by opening day in Alta history since Ski Utah started reporting snowfall in 2010. The base on opening day sits at a whopping 51 inches, which is also an Alta snowfall record since at least 2010.
How can you not be extra stoked for this upcoming season? If you haven’t made your trip plans out here yet, we’ve got you more covered than the ground.
And yet, we still have rooms available for this season (especially right now). You can book direct with us to secure your room. We’ve remodeled a handful of rooms and bathrooms as well as replaced the older mattresses and pillows so you can rest easy after hitting the slopes hard.
Pick up your lift tickets and season passes through Alta so you don’t have to worry about signing up for that with your skis in your hand.
Our friends at Canyon Transportation are back for another year of shuttles to and from the airport. Make your reservations when you book a room to make sure you’re not stuck in the airport where the drinks are quadruple the price of P-Dog.
And last but definitely not least, our world class Ski Shop is up-and-running to get you tuned into the new season. Whether you need a fresh waxing or want to try out a new pair, we’re open when Alta is open.
And with all this snow already piled up, we’ve got some catching up to do. See you out there!
